I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that people's basic needs have to be met before you can do ministry, I knew I had to help.

For instance, we have a little boy by the name of Deshawn, who comes to our church. He is the middle child of six brothers and sisters. He rides his bike by himself every weekend to come to our church. He actively participates during service and even stays later to help clean and straighten up. He said when he gets older, he wants to be an engineer.

However, most of the schools in his neighborhood are failing, the community is full of gang activity, and there aren't any afterschool programs nearby where he can participate.

That's why we are building A Place for Grace to give children like Deshawn a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) high school, recreation facilities, and a plant-based café that will provide job training skills and employment for youth all in a safe Christian environment.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support Grace Community SDA Church for our campaign to build a 7-day a week ministry complex.
